Initial information, at around 4:30 p.m. on July 20, people discovered a fire at a plastic factory in lane 135 of Van Quang pagoda (Da Phuc intersection, Hung Dao ward) and reported it to the authorities and local authorities.
According to the leader of Hung Dao ward, immediately after receiving the report, the leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward were present and directed local forces to control the fire. The fire occurred at a factory of hundreds of square meters, containing plastic sheets. At the scene, black smoke covered the entire area.
Initial assessment is that the fire occurred during the process of welding and reinforcing the stormproof factory No. 3. Because the workshop had many flammable materials, the fire broke out. However, the factory was airy, and the enterprise also took the first steps to overcome the fire, not allowing the fire to spread. After that, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue forces arrived, completely controlling the fire at around 5:00 p.m. the same day.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being counted. The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
