People from Ho Chi Minh City turn right into branch 2 of T2 road belonging to Long Thanh intersection (Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city) and directly enter the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

At exactly 6 pm on May 24, cars with fewer than 9 seats heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Dau Giay began to turn right into branch 2 of T2 road belonging to Long Thanh intersection (Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city) to directly enter the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

People from Ho Chi Minh City, Long Thanh area, Nhon Trach (Dong Nai City) have a more convenient access to Vung Tau (Ho Chi Minh City) without having to travel on National Highway 51 to Vo Nguyen Giap intersection (nearly 20km long) to enter the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

According to reporters' records, vehicles traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway began to slow down when approaching the Long Thanh intersection area. After the section passing National Highway 51 intersection about 200m, many drivers actively turned on the right turn signal, gradually moving into the innermost lane according to the sign system to turn into branch 2 of T2 road, the direct connection to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

Just a few minutes after opening the route, the number of vehicles increased rapidly. The atmosphere at the intersection area became bustling, cars lined up to enter the route stably under the regulation of functional forces and the sign system was fully arranged.

In the first hour of operation, traffic was smooth, no congestion or driver confusion was recorded when changing direction.

According to the initial traffic organization plan, only private cars with fewer than 9 seats are allowed to travel from the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway through the new connecting branch.

Specific route directions are as follows: vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City traveling along the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway in the direction of Dau Giay as usual, after passing the National Highway 51 intersection about 200m, drivers observe the traffic sign at the Long Thanh intersection, proactively reduce speed and turn right to directly enter the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

For vehicles from Long Thanh and Nhon Trach (Dong Nai City), drivers move to the National Highway 51 intersection area to enter the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, continue to Dau Giay direction and then turn right into the connecting branch at Long Thanh intersection.

For the direction from Dau Giay to Ho Chi Minh City, if you want to switch to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, you still cannot connect directly because the traffic branches are not synchronously completed. Vehicles must leave the expressway in the National Highway 51 area, turn around in the opposite direction before entering branch T2.
