On February 19, information from Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, Phuc Ung Commune Police (Son Duong District) just received a thank you letter from Ms. Pham Thi Hong Thao (born in 1977, residing in Tan Thinh Village).
In the letter, Ms. Thao thanked the authorities for helping the family find the money and gold lost in the iron box.
Before that, Ms. Thao came home from work and saw the furniture in the house in disarray. The iron box used to store money and gold was lost. The husband said he took the box to sell scrap at Mr. Le Van Dung's facility.
As for Mr. Dung, when sorting scrap, he discovered an iron box containing gold and money worth nearly 50 million VND. Mr. Dung then reported to the authorities.
After verification, Phuc Ung Commune Police completed the procedures and handed over the above assets to Ms. Thao's family.
