Construction contractor dies at construction site in Lao Cai

    Authorities are investigating the death of a man in a house under construction in Lao Cai city.

    On the afternoon of January 19, informing the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Bui Thi Phuong Thao - Chairman of the People's Committee of Coc Leu Ward (Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) - confirmed that a body had just been discovered in the ward.

    Initial verification information, at 8:30 a.m. the same day, the authorities received a report that at the house under construction of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hieu (in Coc Leu ward), Mr. Dao Xuan Hoa (born in 1981, residing in Zone 3, Lang Son commune, Ha Hoa district, Phu Tho province) - the foreman of the construction workers of the above house - had died in the bedroom on the 2nd floor.

    The cause of death has not been determined.

    Authorities are examining the scene, examining the body, and then handing it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
