The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a telegram on support and visits to the families of victims in Hanoi in the case of the Green Bay 58 tourist boat in Quang Ninh province.
The dispatch was sent to the directors of the Departments of Health, Home Affairs, and Finance; Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards: Hoang Liet, Ha Dong, Dai Thanh, An Khanh, Hong Van, Thuong Tin.
According to the telegram, implementing the Prime Minister's direction on continuing to organize search, rescue and support for the families of victims of the Green Bay 58 tourist boat accident in Quang Ninh province, in order to promptly train and support the families of victims of the tourist boat accident who are citizens of Hanoi city, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested:
The Department of Health shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant units to urgently advise the City People's Committee on policies to support deceased and injured victims, and report to the City People's Committee before 4:00 p.m. on July 20, 2025. Arrange the best medical conditions to treat the injured.
The Department of Home Affairs shall preside over and support the conditions for organizing attendant funerals for the victims.
Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes: Hoang Liet, Ha Dong, Dai Thanh, An Khanh, Hong Van, Thuong Tin: organize thoughtful and timely visits to athletes, support the material and spiritual facilities, create the best conditions to soon stabilize the lives of the victims' families, promptly report to the City People's Committee on contents beyond their authority.
Deploying the telegram of the Chairman of Hanoi, on July 20, the working delegation of Thuong Tin commune visited, encouraged, and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. Hoang Tien Moc in Hamlet 5, Van Hoi village, where 4 relatives died in the tourist boat capsize in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 19.
The working delegation of Thuong Tin commune led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Tin commune Phan Thanh Tung visited, encouraged, and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. Hoang Tien Moc.
Accompanying him were Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Toan Thang and leaders of the Commune People's Committee, departments, branches, unions...
On behalf of the leaders of Thuong Tin commune, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thanh Tung commune encouraged and hoped the family would ease the pain of the great loss; at the same time, the family was given a support fund of 33 million VND. This is a practical action, demonstrating the sense of responsibility, humanity and deep sharing of the Party Committee, government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune with the victim's family.
