Provincial Chairman bows before the spirit of forest fire fighters

Tuyen Quang - The forest fire at Nghiem mountain (Hoang Khai commune) damaged 20 hectares of forest, one person died.

On March 22, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son and the working delegation visited and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. D.D.C (born in 1983, residing in Nui Cay village), a victim who died in a forest fire in Nghiem Son village.

In response to the passing of the deceased, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son expressed his grief and shared the great loss that the family had to endure. At the same time, Mr. Son requested the authorities to urgently clarify the cause of the fire and take timely support measures for the victim's family. Check and review areas at risk of fire flare-ups again, prepare forces and means to fight forest fires.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son presented 25 million VND from the Provincial People's Committee to support the victim's family.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, the fire in the Nghiem mountain area broke out at noon on March 21. By the evening of the same day, thousands of people continued to participate in extinguishing the fire.

When receiving information about the forest fire, Mr. D.D.C and the villagers came to support the authorities. After the fire was controlled, Mr. C. was found dead at the scene.
