On March 24, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper confirmed that Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee had submitted a petition to the competent authority to request early retirement.
Mr. Nghi sent the petition about a week ago. The reason for the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee's resignation has not been disclosed.
Mr. Nghi was born in 1965, from Quang Ngai province. During his working career, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi has held the following positions: Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of the Krong Ana District Party Committee (Dak Lak province); Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Lak province; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.
According to research, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi has been Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee since February 10, 2015.
Mr. Nghi has been Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for more than 10 years. In less than a year, Mr. Nghi will retire under the regime.
