Speaking to the seminar, Mr. Pham Van Tuan - Director of Hai Phong City Press and Communications Center - emphasized that in the digital era, technology is changing the basic fields of all life and the press is not out of that reel. The transition is no longer a choice, but an indispensable requirement for the press to exist, adapt and continue to maintain the role of orientation and lead the public opinion. However, this journey has many challenges: fierce competition from social networks, the risk of fake news, economic pressure from traditional model, and digital gap between readers. But this is also an opportunity for the press to break through thanks to the application of artificial intelligence, large data, multi -platform content and strong interaction connection with the public, especially the younger generation.
Digital transformation is not just a matter of technology, but a comprehensive innovation in thinking, organization and journalism methods. The seminar was held with the desire to listen to practical experiences, to together remove barriers in technology, finance, human resources, and propose practical solutions to develop Hai Phong press sustainably in the digital age.

Also at the seminar, Mr. Pham Van Thep - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Hai Phong City Party Committee - acknowledged that Hai Phong press has had positive changes in recent times, gradually adapting and affirming its role in the digital media environment. Press agencies have modernized their working processes, towards a convergence curriculum model, strongly applying tools such as content management, filmmaking software, event livestream, infographics, short videos and enhancing presence on digital platforms.
Hai Phong press is gradually shifting from one-way communication to interactive communication, effectively promoting its role as an official channel in propagating the city's digital transformation policies, from smart urban development, online public services to digital economy, digital society.
To truly make journalism a pioneer in digital transformation and sustainable development, Hai Phong journalism in the coming time will synchronously deploy 5 groups of solutions: building a modern, multi-platform digital communication center; developing data journalism, serving digital citizens; training the team of journalists in the digital age; innovating the journalism financial model, promoting the socialization of digital content; and accompanying the city in a sustainable development strategy.
Speakers from press, technology and media agencies shared many practical perspectives and experiences on the digital transformation process in the field of journalism - television at the seminar. The presentations focus on key contents, such as: digital transformation in the television industry; application of AI and big data in content production; building a digital platform for radio and television journalism; training a team of digital journalists; applying technology in editing and publishing; along with challenges and solutions for digital transformation at local press agencies.
Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper Nguyen Duc Thanh gave a speech on the content of "Lao Dong Newspaper and the strategy of using artificial intelligence in professional journalism activities". In particular, information about the pioneering journalism model applying AI in content production in Vietnam, notably the LDO-AI virtual editor, Gemini's AI- integrated content content content content content system and separate server infrastructure. The breakthrough is proactively developing internal AI tools, training "real-life AI" for all reporters, and deploying multilingual translations, chatbot, data search assistant and AI utilities to support news processing.
