Hue police promptly rescue a man who jumped off a bridge to commit suicide

    HUE - On April 9, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police said that the unit had just successfully rescued a person who jumped off a bridge to commit suicide.

    Previously, at 5:38 a.m. on April 8, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police received a report from local residents about a man committing suicide by jumping off a bridge at Phu Xuan Bridge (Dong Ba Ward, Hue City).

    This person then clung to the foot of the bridge, some people used ropes to support, but could not bring the victim to shore.

    After receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police urgently dispatched a canoe and 6 officers and soldiers to the scene to rescue the victims.

    Just over 10 minutes later, the working group rescued and successfully brought the victim to shore, handing him over to Dong Ba Ward Police (Phu Xuan District, Hue City) for encouragement and support in contacting the family to bring the victim home.

    It is known that this man born in 1975 currently resides in Thuan An ward (Hue city).
