On the afternoon of November 29, according to Lao Dong reporter, from around 4pm, the police force appeared at the road leading to the old office of Market Management Team No. 4 (Huu Lung Commune, Lang Son).
Chi Lang Street, near Met Bridge, opposite Met Market, is the only road leading to the old headquarters of this unit. Inside the area, there is also the headquarters of the Huu Lung Area Tax Team and many households living there.
The blocking point was established nearly 100m from the gate of the old headquarters.
At the same time, many curious people outside stopped to watch, making the area quite crowded.
At around 6pm, the authorities began setting up ropes to block all entrances.
At around 6:30 p.m., the police asked people to leave the area to serve their work.
By 7:00 p.m. the same day, the blockade continued, and many people gathered outside to watch the developments.
Previously, on November 28, in a quick exchange with Lao Dong reporter, the leader of Huu Lung Commune People's Committee said that the police force had been present at the old working headquarters of Market Management Team No. 4 to conduct steps to verify and work related to professional content.
The commune leader said: "When there are specific results, the locality will officially inform".
That same evening, according to the reporter's records at the scene, this headquarters was located next to the Huu Lung Area Tax Team, deep in the residential area and about 100m from Met Market.
The entire area was then locked, the doors were closed; the surrounding walls were reinforced with barbed wire fences.
Inside the campus, there are two rows of houses and a covered yard. In which, a house that is said to be a dining room, kitchen with blue doors is being sealed.
The leader of Huu Lung Commune People's Committee added that before the merger, this was the working headquarters of Market Management Team No. 4, the unit in charge of Huu Lung and Chi Lang districts.
From July 1, 2025, after the arrangement and merger, the new headquarters of the unit has been moved to Chi Lang commune.
