Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha), the police force of Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province has deployed many measures to support people in responding.

On July 22, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Anh Tien - Head of Hac Thanh Ward Police - said that the unit had strictly implemented the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police on storm prevention and control. All officers and soldiers (CBCS) are mobilized and on duty 24/7, ready for disaster prevention plans according to the "4 on-site" motto.

To ensure the safety of life and health for the forces on duty and the people, Hac Thanh Ward Police have reviewed all key areas, developed specific plans, suitable for each storm situation. The staff proactively monitor weather developments closely, update information from the Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting and official channels to respond promptly and effectively.

On July 22, many working groups of the Ward Police went to the area to support people in moving their belongings, reinforcing their houses, clearing broken branches, and clearing obstacles on the drainage line. In some areas at risk of flooding, the authorities coordinated with militia and mass organizations to conduct inspections and support people in preparing essential supplies and necessities.

Lieutenant Colonel Mai Anh Tien added that the unit also focuses on protecting security and order during storms, especially in residential areas that are easily cut off or evacuated. In addition, disaster prevention and propaganda work is being implemented through ward loudspeakers and residential groups, helping people proactively raise their vigilance, not to panic or be subjective.

The timely, drastic and responsible intervention of the Hac Thanh Ward Police force has contributed significantly to protecting the safety of people's lives and property from the impact of storm No. 3.
