In the complaint, Ms. Thuy stated that at noon on December 23, she and Ms. Le Thi My Hai (born 2000, residing in Tay Hoa, Phu Yen), an employee of a travel company, led a group of Korean tourists to Dam market to shop.
While passing by the stall “Cho Dam Fruit” at gate 5 of Dam market, Ms. Thuy and Ms. Hai had a conflict and argued with Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Tr (born in 1996, residing in Nha Trang city) - a fruit seller. During the argument, the two sides got into a fight.
According to the report of Van Thanh Ward Police, a group of traders including Ms. Tr, Vo Thi Ngoc T (born in 1989, residing in Nha Trang) and 3 others rushed in and beat Ms. Le Thi My Hai and Tran Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy. After people intervened, Ms. Hai and Thuy ran out of the Dam market gate.
