Hanoi City has just announced cadastral maps and organizational maps for 126 new communes and wards when implementing the "Project to rearrange and reorganize administrative units at all levels and the model of organizing local government at 2 levels" in the area.

According to the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, updating cadastral maps and organizational forms after the arrangement of administrative units is a particularly important task, contributing to the completion of a synchronous and accurate cadastral records system, effectively serving the direction and operation in the fields of land, agriculture, urban planning and infrastructure development.
The new maps will accurately display the new administrative boundaries, boundaries of land plots, infrastructure works, agricultural production areas, etc., in accordance with reality and in accordance with current technical standards for map measurement.
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 3715/UBND-NNMT on the implementation of the Project to build a comprehensive cadastral records system and land database, while promoting the completion of the national land database in the area.
Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to urgently coordinate with relevant units to build administrative boundary maps for 126 communes and wards; at the same time, transfer data for the Department of Agriculture and Environment to update to the common digital map of the City.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is required to urgently complete the national land database and implement the cadastral records construction project, ensuring quality and progress.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities and the People's Committees of newly established communes and wards are responsible for handing over, receiving records, documents and inheriting tasks in accordance with the provisions of Section 3.1 of Document No. 3675 of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Units must closely coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment in operating and updating land data. This department is responsible for specifically guiding the People's Committees at the new commune level to implement in accordance with regulations.
