Traffic police in Ho Chi Minh City pave the way to help pregnant women get through traffic jams and get to the hospital safely

HCMC - While on duty to regulate traffic, officers of Da Phuoc Traffic Police Station promptly assisted a pregnant woman whose water had broken and to Tu Du Hospital safely.

According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08), at around 9:30 a.m. on August 6, Major Chu Nguyen Cuong - an officer of Da Phuoc Traffic Police Station received a request for support from the SM Xanh taxi driver with license plate 50H-625.xx, who was transporting a mother who was in labor and needed urgent care to the hospital. Immediately, Major Chu Nguyen Cuong reported to the unit to coordinate with working groups on the route and adjacent units to support.

After that, Major Cuong used a special motorbike to guide the route, creating conditions for the taxi to move quickly through the crowded roads, taking the pregnant woman to Tu Du Hospital safely and in time for emergency care.

Thanks to timely support, the mother was taken to the hospital on time. The family and the driver expressed their emotions and sent their sincere thanks to the traffic police for not being afraid of difficulties and quickly supporting in emergency situations.
