The incident occurred at around 10:55 a.m. on January 16. At that time, Mr. Cao Hoai Tr. (born in 1955, residing in Phu Nhuan district) was driving a Lamborghini with a HCMC license plate on Huynh Van Banh street in the direction from Phan Dinh Phung street to Nguyen Van Troi street (Phu Nhuan district).
When arriving in front of house number 102 Huynh Van Banh, Ward 15, the car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, the engine still running, Mr. Tr. sat motionless in the car.
According to Mr. Tr.’s wife, he had a history of acute myocardial infarction. Immediately after receiving the news, the Traffic Police (CSGT) – Order Team, Phu Nhuan District Police quickly arrived at the scene. The Traffic Police force conducted traffic flow and regulation, avoided congestion and ensured security and order in the area.
In coordination with the family, the traffic police opened the car door, performed first aid on Mr. Tr. and quickly called 115 ambulance to take him to the hospital for treatment.
Notably, at the time of the incident, some people filmed a video and posted it on social media, causing inaccurate information about the authorities handling the Lamborghini supercar.
A representative of the Traffic Police and Order Team, Phu Nhuan District Police, has confirmed that this information is false. The authorities have acted promptly to support the victims, with the top priority being the health and lives of the people.
