Rescue of fishing boat of Quang Binh fishermen sunk in Quang Tri sea

Quang Tri - While fishing about 2 nautical miles from shore, the fishing boat sank, and rescue forces quickly deployed.

At noon on January 4, Cua Tung Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) confirmed that it had just coordinated with Vinh Thai Commune Police and local people to rescue a fishing boat that sank at sea.

Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. the same day, three fishermen Ho Sy Phuoc (40 years old), Ho Sy Duc (37 years old) and Le Quang Tien (43 years old, all residing in Ngu Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) were fishing in the waters of Quang Tri when their boat sank.

The sunken ship is located about 2 nautical miles off the coast of Vinh Thai commune (Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province).

Fisherman Ho Sy Duc swam to shore, the other two fishermen were trapped on the sinking fishing boat and drifted far from shore.

Upon receiving the information, the forces coordinated to organize a rescue, pulling the sunken fishing boat and 2 fishermen ashore.
