Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung was born in 1984, hometown Hoi An city, Quang Nam province. He was the Head of the Economic Police Department of Da Nang city.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung on his new position.
