On the afternoon of November 2, 2025, the Central Hydrometeorological Station issued a warning of flash floods, landslides and land subsidence due to the impact of heavy rain that has lasted for many days. On November 2, Da Nang will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places. Some points recorded heavy rainfall such as Ba Na 110.8mm, Phuoc Hiep 167.6mm, Kham Duc over 100mm, Tra My 117mm, Ho Nuocon 73.2mm.
Soil moisture models show that many areas in the city have reached a near-satisfactory state, with a humidity of over 95%, increasing the risk of landslides and subsidence.
According to the forecast, in the next 6 hours, Da Nang will continue to have rain, some places will have very heavy rain. Total rainfall is generally from 20 - 40mm, locally over 70mm. Heavy rain in a short period of time combined with steep terrain and water seepage has caused the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams in mountainous areas; landslides and land subsidence in many communes and wards in the city.
The Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of natural disasters due to flash floods and landslides at level 2, and at the same time recommends that people in mountainous areas, along rivers and streams, positive slopes, and areas at risk of subsidence should proactively monitor weather developments and move to safe places when there are unusual signs.
High-risk areas are listed as: Ba Na, Ben Giang, Hiep Duc, Hung Son, Kham Duc, Lanh Ngoc, Nam Tra My, Phuoc Chanh, Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Thanh, Phuoc Tra, Tra Leng, Tra Lien, Tra My, Tra Tap, Tra Van, Tay Giang, Hoa Vang, Hai Van, Lien Chieu, Nam Giang, Nong Son... (concentrated in the mountainous areas of the old Quang Nam). Notably, residential areas along rivers, streams, hillsides and areas with dangerous slopes are worth noting.

The Central Meteorological Station also noted that flash floods and landslides can cause serious damage, threaten people's lives, clog traffic, destroy civil works and affect production and socio-economic activities.
People are advised not to move through areas with deep flooding or landslides; not to live near positive slopes, along rivers and streams; and to comply with the instructions of local authorities and disaster prevention agencies to ensure safety.
