Da Nang - The City People's Council has just approved the budget for treating leachate at Khanh Son landfill in the period of 2025-2027.

On November 1, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that the proposal on the budget arrangement for the implementation of the bidding package for the provision of management and operation services for leachate treatment at Khanh Son landfill in the period of 2025-2027 has just been approved by the City People's Council.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, since June 2019, the Chairman of the People's Committee has agreed on the price of management and operation services for the leachate treatment system at Khanh Son landfill at 148,216 VND/m³. SEEN Engineering Joint Stock Company is the contractor implementing the bidding package to provide management and operation services for the leachate treatment system at this landfill (phase 1) from 2020 to 2025 with the winning bid price of 145,094 VND/m³. The approved capacity of the leachate treatment system at Khanh Son landfill is 700m³/day and night.

Based on the implementation and review, the City People's Committee determined the estimated cost of management and operation services for the leachate treatment system at Khanh Son landfill in 3 years (from 2025 to 2027) to be over 111 billion VND (700m³/day and night).

Therefore, the People's Committee submitted and the People's Council of Da Nang City approved the state budget estimate for 2025 to implement management and operation services for the leachate treatment system at Khanh Son landfill with an amount of more than 37 billion VND.

In 2026 and 2027, approximately 37 billion VND/year will be spent.
