Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan signed Official Letter No. 956/UBND-NC requesting agencies, units and localities to promote the development of non-cash payments in the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits based on the national population database.
Heads of units and localities disseminate to cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, and workers the policies of the Government and the City People's Committee on promoting non-cash payments; mobilize and propagate to relatives and people living in their residence who are receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits by cash to switch to non-cash payment methods, to be completed before September 30, 2025.
The City Post Office regularly coordinates closely with social insurance agencies and related units in deploying and organizing propaganda and mobilizing pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries to receive monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through non-cash payment methods according to the set targets, striving to achieve a non-cash payment rate of over 80% by the end of 2025.
The Department of Home Affairs coordinates with communes and wards to propagate and mobilize people with revolutionary contributions and receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits to convert the method from cash receipt to non-cash payment method to a rate of over 85%, to be completed before November 30, 2025.
The People's Committees of communes and wards direct socio-political organizations, associations, unions, Community Digital Technology Teams and Project 06/CP to coordinate with the Social Insurance force, Ward and Commune Police to propagate and mobilize beneficiaries of monthly pensions and social insurance benefits to switch to non-cash payment methods. Strive to achieve the assigned rate by 2025 for the number of people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits in communes and wards.
