On the afternoon of November 4, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police said that the unit had clarified the case of 2 SH vehicles with the same license plate that the people reported.
Previously, on November 3, passersby discovered and recorded images of 2 motorbikes with license plates 29D2 - X9999 traveling on Hue Street (Hanoi), then sent a report to the hotline of the Director of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security.

Receiving the direction of the Traffic Police Department, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police deployed professional measures, quickly identified the identities of related individuals and invited them to the police station for questioning.
On November 4, at the headquarters of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4, through investigation, it was shown that Mr. D.M.T (born in 1977, residing in Dinh Cong Ward, Hanoi) is the legal owner of a white Honda SH motorbike with identification number 29D2 - X9999.
After selling this car to Mr. T.D.L (born in 1950, residing in Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi), Mr. T completed the procedures to revoke the license plate, and registered another red Honda SH car, reattaching the license plate 29D2 - X9999 according to regulations.
As for Mr. L, due to poor health and having to be treated at the hospital, he has not completed the procedures to register the car to buy back. During this time, his daughter, Ms. T.L.P (born in 1980), arbitrarily ordered a license plate 29D2 - X9999 through social networks, attached to a white Honda SH for driving on the road.

Based on the verification results, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 has issued a record of administrative sanctions against Ms. T.L.P for the acts of "Driving a vehicle with a license plate not issued by a competent authority" and "No vehicle registration certificate".
The total fine is 7.5 million VND, and 6 driving license points are deducted and the license plate not issued by a competent authority is confiscated.
The Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police recommends that people when buying, selling, or using vehicles must fully carry out registration and name change procedures according to regulations. Arbitrarily using or forging a license plate is a violation of the law and will be strictly handled.
