On November 14, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to establish the Election Committee for the 16th National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031.
The Chairwoman of the Election Committee is Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council.
The Vice Chairmen of the Election Committee include Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie knong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Dao My - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Do Thai Phong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
The Secretary of the Election Committee is Mr. Truong Ngoc Tuan - Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
The Election Committee has 27 members who are heads of advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, departments, branches, and socio-political organizations.
The duties and powers of the Provincial Election Committee shall comply with the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies dated June 25, 2015 and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies dated June 24, 2025.
The Provincial Election Committee has the seal and operating budget according to the provisions of law, the working headquarters is located at the headquarters of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
