According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province, up to now, there are many projects in the area that are behind schedule. Among them, there is the Dao Nghia - Quang Khe Road Project Phase 2.
This project has a total investment of 830 billion VND from the central budget and local budget.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province, the capital plan assigned in 2024 to the project's reporting period is 150 billion VND from the central budget; the capital extended from 2023 to 2024 is 91.6 billion VND.
As of September 11, 2024, the project has disbursed VND 4.09 billion/VND 241.6 billion, reaching 1.69% of the assigned capital plan. Currently, the project is organizing construction for the section of the route that has been handed over the site of package No. 16 and producing precast components for the remaining packages.
The remaining two packages are stuck with site clearance and overlap with bauxite exploration and exploitation planning.
Of the VND 241.6 billion allocated for the project, it is expected that priority will be given to disbursing only VND 91.6 billion of the capital that has been transferred to the expenditure task. Meanwhile, the remaining VND 147.7 billion allocated for 2024 cannot be fully disbursed.
The Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province has advised the People's Committee of Dak Nong province to return the undisbursed capital to the Central Government.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province, the main responsibility for the slow disbursement of investment capital belongs to the investor.
For capital extended from 2023 to 2024, if it is not fully disbursed this year, it will not be transferred to the following year and there is a risk of losing capital.
