Having sold wild peach trees for 5 years in Hai Duong City, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh said that he imported wild peach trees from peach gardens of people in Son La Province. This is the first batch of peach trees that Mr. Tuan Anh imported this year.
"The first time I imported more than 200 wild peach trees. Although it was less than a week, I sold a lot of them. On average, I sell 4 to 5 peach trees a day. On busy days, I sell more than 10 peach trees," said Mr. Tuan Anh.
The price of wild peach trees at this time ranges from 500,000 VND to 1,200,000 VND, depending on the size of each tree. However, near Tet, the price of peach trees will double. Some peach trees cost 3 - 4 million VND.
Mr. Tuan Anh also added that from now until Tet, his family will import another large quantity of wild peach trees. In previous years, Mr. Tuan Anh imported 3-4 trips, each trip had more than 200 peach trees. Every year, the wild peach trees imported by Mr. Tuan Anh were all sold out.
Mr. Tuan Anh added: "The wild peach branches will have a more beautiful shape, mossy branches, and a wilder beauty. That's why many people prefer to play with wild peach trees than traditional peach trees, and when brought back to Hai Duong to sell, they will also get a higher price."
