Of which, the volume of sand qualified for use for the highway that Tien Giang province can supply is about 2.968 million m3, after survey.
An Giang province supplies about 2.3-2.4 million m3. However, a portion of sand in An Giang has been transferred to the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway project, 700,000 m3.
Mr. Dang Hoang Vinh added that the unit does not know how to transfer 700,000m3 of sand and has not received any official documents from the unit. Previously, there was only a confirmation of the transfer.
The investor of component project 2 requested the People's Committee of An Giang province to consider and support the return of the volume of 700,000m3 of sand transferred from Binh Phuoc Xuan mine according to the confirmation to ensure the source of materials for the project.
The investor of component project 2 also hopes that Tien Giang province will continue to support in the process of implementing procedures for sand exploitation; continue to review the remaining mines in the province to support enough sand sources for the project.
For component project 3 in Hau Giang province, the project is divided into 2 construction packages, up to now, reaching 26% of the contract value.
