Investing 110 billion VND to open a road to a difficult area in Dak Nong

Dak Nong - Dak Glong district is using 110 billion VND from the central budget to expand and upgrade the road connecting the district center with 3 communes in difficult areas.

The Dak Plao - Dak R'mang - Dak Som inter-commune road in Dak Glong district was approved in December 2021. The project has a total investment of 110 billion VND from the central budget.

The project is invested by the Dak Glong District Project Management and Land Fund Development Board. The project implementation period is from 2023 to 2026.

According to the Dak Glong District People's Committee, this road opening project passes through three extremely disadvantaged communes. The total length of the road is about 16km, invested according to the standards of a grade VI mountainous road.

In which, the roadbed is 6m wide. The road surface is 3.5m wide according to concrete road standards. The shoulder on each side is 1.25m wide.

The route is basically designed according to the existing trail and the new design follows the natural terrain conditions. The project scope using new land area for construction is 23.47ha.

At the end of 2023, the joint venture of Tan Truong Phat Company Limited - Saigon Construction and Trading Company Limited won the bid for the Dak P'lao - Dak R'mang - Dak Som inter-commune road project. The total value of the contract package is nearly 85 billion VND.

These days, taking advantage of favorable weather, contractors are urgently constructing. Currently, many sections of the route have basically taken shape.

According to the People's Committee of Dak Glong district, this inter-commune road plays a very important role in completing the traffic network in the district.

The project helps people travel conveniently, easily transport goods and connect trade between communes with the district center and neighboring localities.

The route aims to improve the material and spiritual life of the people, while promoting socio-economic development in the poor district of Dak Glong.
