The death anniversary is more closely linked to the people
Ia Phi Commune, Gia Lai Province currently has 30 villages and hamlets, of which 6 are particularly disadvantaged ethnic minority villages including: Yut, Prep, Tum, Kenh, Bui and Bluk Blui.
Implementing Directive 03-CT/TU of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the connection between agencies and units and ethnic minority villages, up to now, all 6 villages have completed the connection on schedule, opening a new step in supporting socio-economic development at the grassroots level.

According to the assignment, the units in charge of the commune's reform include: Party Construction Committee (Yut village), Office of the People's Council & People's Committee of the commune (Prop village), Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune (Tum village), Department of Culture - Social Affairs of the commune (Bui village), Commune Police (Khenh village).
The units are committed to closely accompanying the people, grasping the living situation and proposing solutions to remove difficulties suitable to the characteristics of each village.
The death anniversaries were held in an atmosphere of solidarity and hope. Here, the units approved the Support Plan, signed a treaty of friendship and agreed to implement many key contents such as: accompanying the construction of a new cultural life, improving people's knowledge; supporting economic development to sustainably reduce poverty.

Along with that is the work of taking care of health care, education, supporting school for disadvantaged students, preserving cultural identity, mobilizing people to change their "thinking style - way of doing", proactively working and producing. At the same time, building a strong grassroots political system, maintaining security and order and eliminating backward customs.
On the occasion of the celebration, the units presented gifts to support Bluk Blui village, including: a gift to the Village People's Committee; 5 gifts for poor students overcoming difficulties; 5 solar lights to help improve evening lighting.

Although the gifts are not large, they are practical, contributing to improving safety and creating favorable conditions for people's lives.
Poverty reduction, leaving no one behind
The death anniversary is not only a traditional ceremony, but also a long-term commitment of agencies and units to the people of the village.
With the joint efforts of the government, the unit of solidarity and the efforts of the people, the particularly disadvantaged villages of Ia Phi are expected to have strong changes in the coming time.

The work of twinning is also associated with the goal of sustainable poverty reduction set by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee. The province requires localities to speed up the implementation of poverty reduction programs, striving to reduce the poverty rate in the whole province to 2.24%, equivalent to more than 9,400 households escaping poverty by the end of 2025.
Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep said that the main causes of poverty are lack of land for production, lack of labor, lack of capital and limitations in knowledge and vocational skills.

Therefore, vocational training and changing production thinking are identified as key solutions to "open the way out of poverty". The province aims to attract more than 3,000 workers to participate in vocational training annually, increasing the rate of workers with degrees and certificates to 25% by 2030.
In recent times, Gia Lai has synchronously implemented many solutions from the provincial to grassroots levels, especially supporting livelihoods, reorganizing production, and encouraging the development of appropriate economic models.
Thanks to that, economic and social life in many localities has clearly changed, the rate of poor households has gradually decreased, people have boldly accessed science and technology, and changed outdated farming practices.
When the government, units and people are united, the goals of poverty reduction, building new rural areas and improving community life will soon be achieved.
