On March 19, the Inspection Committee of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee held the 21st Session to review and propose disciplinary action against a number of individuals.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission found that Mr. Ma Van Huan - District Party Committee member, specialist of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Department, during his tenure as Head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Be district, was irresponsible in performing assigned tasks. Mr. Huan signed an appraisal report, advising the District People's Committee to agree on the policy of adjusting and adding items to the project in violation of regulations, causing budget losses. The above behavior has been prosecuted and prosecuted by competent authorities according to regulations.
Mr. Nong Duc Di - former Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, during his work of lack of improvement, degradation in political and moral ideology, and forgery in work for personal gain, was prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Investigation Police Agency of Phu Tho Province.
Mr. Tong Van Cong - former Head of the Department of Investigation of Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment, Bac Kan Provincial Police, during his tenure as Head of the Department of Investigation of Drug Crimes, lacked discipline and degraded political and ethical ideology. During the performance of their duties, they created conditions for other subjects to commit crimes, and were prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security (C04).
Considering the content, nature, and basis of the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against Party members, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission unanimously proposed that the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee review and discipline the above individuals according to its authority.
