The document stated: In recent days, storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) has swept into the northern provinces of our country, causing great devastation and damage to people and property, seriously affecting all aspects of people's lives and economy, damaging thousands of houses and public infrastructure works, especially many bridges and key roads in the northern region.
Promoting the spirit of solidarity, “mutual love and support”, “the strong help the weak”; to support the transportation of relief goods to affected areas, help people overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods, stabilize their lives and restore production, the Vietnam Road Administration requests units, investors and enterprises to consider and direct toll stations to exempt road use fees for vehicles transporting relief goods when passing through toll stations until new instructions are issued; coordinate with the Regional Road Management Area and relevant local agencies to organize lane division, traffic flow and traffic guidance so that the above vehicles can pass through toll stations as quickly as possible.
All toll suspensions and fee exemptions for the above vehicles must be recorded and records and toll collection data must be kept in full compliance with regulations.
