On the morning of November 14, at the "Listening to the People" Forum organized by the Hai Chau Ward Provisional People's Council in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Chau Ward, the ward leaders informed voters about the orientation of using the headquarters and real estate facilities that became redundant after the ward merged administrative units.

At the forum, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee informed about major orientations in leadership and organizing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the coming time.
Mr. Duy emphasized that with the characteristics of the core urban area formed a long time ago, the existing infrastructure system has no longer met the needs in the context of increasing population density and new development requirements. In the past, the ward has renovated a number of roads to better serve people's lives.
One of the contents that voters are interested in is the fact that some headquarters have become redundant after the administrative merger. According to the ward leader, this is a "rarely opportunity" to review and rearrange land funds for areas that are really urgent.
Since then, Hai Chau ward has proactively reviewed indicators on education, healthcare, culture and sent documents proposing to the City People's Committee on plans to use surplus land for purposes such as: education, cultural - sports institutions, healthcare, trees - parks and static traffic (parking lots).
"In reality, the rate of establishments in these groups in the ward is currently much lower than the standard. To move towards a civilized city, the infrastructure system must be invested in proportion. Therefore, the locality has reported and recommended that the city consider and create a basis to improve infrastructure indicators, serving long-term development," said Mr. Duy.
At the same time, Hai Chau ward is also reviewing the current status of residents and technical infrastructure to develop a methodical solution to handle each problem, in accordance with the current status and actual needs.
Providing more information on the above issue, Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran - Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Party Committee said that the city is reviewing the general planning and implementing the development of zoning plans after administrative merger.
On that basis, Hai Chau ward is coordinating with the city to develop more detailed plans, and at the same time propose adjusting land use purposes and converting some real estate facilities to meet the requirements of residential land, social infrastructure land, education and health, in accordance with the needs of people in the new period.
"The Ward People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee have also submitted a report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee on requesting to adjust the purpose of using some public assets after the merger but there is no exploitation plan, to prioritize the allocation for health, culture and education.
When the city agrees on the policy, the ward will immediately implement the next steps and widely inform voters," said the Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Party Committee.
