Although the Tran Temple Seal Opening Ceremony this year took place at the beginning of the week, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the night of February 11 (ie January 14 of the lunar calendar), many people were present at the Tran Temple Cultural and Historical Relic - Thap Pagoda (Loc Vuong Ward, Nam Dinh City) to ask for the seal.
Before the opening ceremony, security was tightened. Around the temple gate, many iron fences were erected. Since the evening of February 11, when the opening ceremony had not yet taken place, thousands of people had lined up outside the fence, waiting.
Preparing for the ceremony, sitting outside waiting to enter Tran Temple to offer incense after the Opening Seal Ceremony, Ms. Hoang Thi Hong (Nam Dinh City) shared: "Because my house is in the city, I arrived at Tran Temple late, around 8pm, I left home. Every year, I prepare the ceremony so that my family can wait together for the Opening Seal Ceremony and then enter the temple to pray for blessings, peace and luck."
Ms. Duong Kim Thuy, a tourist from Thai Binh, said she came to Tran Temple on the afternoon of February 11 to wait to receive a lucky seal.
It is known that this year's Seal Opening Ceremony will have many contents, including a solemn ceremony and a vibrant festival, imbued with traditional cultural identity.
In particular, this year the Organizing Committee will livestream the Seal Opening Ceremony via a screen installed outside, so that people who cannot enter the ceremony area can watch. This year, the Organizing Committee will distribute lucky seals to people and visitors from 5:00 a.m. on February 12 (January 15), at 3 locations: Giai Vu House, Exhibition House and Trung Hoa Temple.
