On the morning of November 18, Khanh Hoa Traffic Management and Construction Joint Stock Company said that at many locations on Khanh Le Pass (National Highway 27C), large blocks of rock appeared across the road, forcing the unit to plan to blast and break the rock to clear it.
The most serious location is at km44+200, where hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil collapsed on the afternoon of November 17, completely cutting off the road.

In the past two days, this area has continued to have many new landslides that have not been cleared.
Due to prolonged heavy rain and complicated weather, it is difficult to approach the scene and clear the landslide.
The authorities had to mobilize excavators to clear the road and use bulldozers to clear the rocks and soil. The road management unit said that if the weather is favorable, it is expected to be temporarily open to traffic in about the next 2 days.
Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on November 16, a passenger bus running on the Da Lat - Quang Ngai route on Khanh Le Pass was suddenly hit by rocks and soil from the positive slope, pressing hard against the right side of the vehicle.
The incident caused severe damage to Phuong Trang's passenger bus, killing 6 people and injuring 19 others.
On the afternoon of November 17, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh directly inspected the repair work at the scene.
He requested the forces to focus on coordinating and implementing a plan to quickly handle the blocks of soil and rock spilled onto the road, while ensuring absolute safety for the construction force in bad weather conditions.
