Dak Lak - After a period of removing obstacles, the T20 high-voltage power pole has been dismantled and relocated to implement the East bypass project of Buon Ma Thuot city.

On May 13, the Dak Lak Provincial Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment and Rural Development Projects (Project Management Board) informed that the authorities have dismantled and relocated the 220kV (T20) high-voltage power pole.

Thereby, handing over the entire site to continue construction of the completion of the eastern bypass project of Buon Ma Thuot city.

At Km 32+600, the T20 high-voltage power pole located in the middle of the road has greatly affected the progress of the above project.

Power Transmission Company 3 has coordinated with the Central Power System Control Center to cut off the power to dismantle the steel pole and move it to a new installation location.

According to the Project Management Board, some locations have not yet completed site clearance, affecting the construction progress. The T20 power pole at Km32+600 has not been relocated. Some sections of the drainage ditch through Krong Pac and Cu Kuin districts are still stuck with land clearance.

Some households in Buon Ma Thuot city have not yet handed over their land. Therefore, as of early May 2025, the accumulated disbursement value reached more than VND 1,406 billion, equivalent to 76.4% of total capital.

A representative of the Dak Lak Provincial Project Management Board said that the project is targeted to be completed in 2025. Currently, the unit is coordinating with local authorities to speed up site clearance and hand over clean land for contractors to construct the final items.

The Ho Chi Minh Road project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province) has a total initial investment of more than 1,500 billion VND from the central budget, with a length of more than 39km. After that, the project increased its capital to more than VND 1,841 billion due to land clearance problems.
