Accordingly, the flag and inauguration ceremony of A Pa Chai flagpole was held on 7.5.2025, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu (7.5.1954 - 7.5.2025), in order to affirm the national border sovereignty at the Western Pole of the country.
The inauguration ceremony will be held in the home area waiting to reach the intersection of the border of Vietnam - Laos - China. Meanwhile, the flag ceremony was held at A Pa Chai Flag Pill, Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province.
The flagpole was built in the West, which is both meaningful to affirm the sacred sovereignty of the country and bring values of culture and tourism. This is a project invested by the Border Guard of Dien Bien Province and funds used from socialization.
According to the design, the national flagpole has an altitude of about 45.19m, of which the reinforced concrete pillar is 29.5m high; The flagpole of stainless steel is 15.69m high; The flag size is 7.5m x 5m with an area of 37.5m2.
The base of the base, the body of the flagpole is designed with octagonal shapes, the outer surface of the stone flagpole, the legs create accents with the reliefs of the Northwest cultural image and national motifs.
