Dien Bien - the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the investment policy of 2 projects to overcome landslides caused by natural disasters in Dien Bien Dong district.

2 projects with a total investment of VND 33 billion include: embankment to protect the Lu I, II, III, Lu Lom villages; Remedy embankment against landslides, protect the working offices and residential areas of the center of Tong Dinh commune. 2 projects have a total investment of 18 and 15 billion dong respectively.

Both projects under Group C, the time for implementation in 2025, was invested with the support of the central budget reserve.

The embankment project to protect Suoi Lu I, II, III, Keo Lom commune will overcome the landslide caused by natural disasters to protect and stabilize life for 286 households with 1,327 people, contributing to adapting to climate change, socio -economic development of the commune.

The project has an investment in construction of embankments to overcome landslides with a length of about 651m, concrete structure, reinforced concrete. The building on the route (locked walls, steps up and down ...), concrete structure, reinforced concrete.

The project of remedy for embankments against landslides, protecting the working offices and residential areas of the center of Tong Du commune will overcome the landslide caused by natural disasters to protect the soil, property, ensure safety for officials, public servants, officials, workers, teachers, students to study and work at the headquarters and schools of the new central area of ​​the commune.

The project has an investment in construction of embankments to overcome landslides with a length of about 290m, concrete structure, reinforced concrete. The building on the route (locking walls, railing, drainage ...), concrete structure, reinforced concrete.

The Project Management Board of Dien Bien Agricultural and Rural Development works are responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to complete the following records and procedures of the two projects.
