As one of the three key projects of Bac Kan City and subject to a special supervision of the province, the road project to Nam Cut Lake (project) has been identified as an essential infrastructure works, serving urban development and people's connection.
The project was started in December 2023, invested by Bac Kan City Project and Investment Board, with a total capital of about VND 226 billion, of which the central budget supported VND 90 billion, the rest from the city budget and other legal capital sources.
The route has a total length of about 6km, divided into 3 sections. In particular, the section 1 is about 1.4km long, built according to urban road standards, with a road surface of 10.5m wide and sidewalks on both sides of 3m wide.
Section 2 is about 1.5km long, built according to the scale of level IV, 7m wide road surface, sidewalk on each side 3m.
Paragraph 3 is the lake around the lake, about 3.1km long. The road surface is 7.5m wide, the sidewalk on each side is 1.25m, in accordance with the standard level IV road.

As a household with a house near the project, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan (Bac Kan City) said that when the project information was implemented, he and the people of the area were very happy and expected the project to be put into operation soon.
"Previously, the way from Bac Kan City to Lake is not easy. If the project is completed, people will travel conveniently, transport more faster goods, save time," Toan said.
Mr. Tran Cong Hoa - Director of the Department of Finance said that the road project to Lu Chua Lake will be completed in 2025.
In the process of implementing the project, the unit also faces some difficulties in terms of premises, but still ensures the schedule as well as planned as well as ensuring the time of capital arrangement.
The route when completed will contribute to improving technical infrastructure in Nam Cut Lake area, and at the same time create favorable conditions for socio -economic development in the area.
