According to information from Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd., from the evening of October 21 to October 23, Ha Tinh area will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. With common rainfall from 50-100mm, some places over 150mm.

Based on the reservoir operation process approved by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, to ensure the safety of the project and downstream, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. announced to discharge water through the spillway of Boc Nguyen reservoir starting from 8:00 a.m. on October 23 with a flow rate from 5m³/s to 120m³/s.

Also starting from 8:00 a.m. on October 23, at Thuong Song Tri reservoir, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. will discharge water through the spillway from 5m³/s to 120m³/s (depending on weather developments).

To ensure the safety of people and property in the downstream area, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. requests local authorities in the downstream area of ​​the two above-mentioned spillway regulating reservoirs to notify, urge and guide people to implement safety measures.

Thuong Song Tri Reservoir is located in Ky Anh town, with a design capacity of about 25.4 million m3 of water, currently reaching an elevation of 28.86/32m.

Boc Nguyen Reservoir is located on the border between Thach Ha and Cam Xuyen districts, with a design capacity of about 24 million m3 of water, currently reaching an elevation of 17.95/20m.

To proactively respond to the situation of heavy rain and low pressure strengthening into a storm, on October 22, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Ha Tinh province issued a telegram on prevention.
