Billion-dollar FDI enterprises in Quang Ninh officially lease social housing to workers

Quang Ninh - A foreign direct investor in Dong Mai Industrial Park, Quang Yen town has just announced that it has received applications to register to rent social housing areas for workers.

This is a social housing project in Dong Mai ward, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh, serving workers and laborers of enterprises in Song Khoai Industrial Park.

The project investor is Jinko Solar Industrial Company Limited (Vietnam). This is an investor who has poured into Quang Ninh with a total registered capital of over 2.5 billion USD, in the field of photovoltaic cell technology, in Song Khoai Industrial Park, Quang Yen and Hai Ha marine Industrial Park, Hai Ha district.

The social housing project in Dong Mai ward consists of 2 apartment buildings, 7 floors and attic. The construction area of each building is 1,948.2 m2; the construction floor area of each building is 13,097.7 m2. The total number of apartments is 420.

In addition, there are auxiliary items, including: security house, pumping station, soccer field, transformer station, parking area, trees, walking garden... and traffic infrastructure connected to the project.

According to the investor, all 420 apartments are for rent only, not for sale. The time to receive apartment rental registration documents is from April 1, 2025 and ends on May 5, 2025.

Previously, at the end of February 2025, also in Dong Mai ward, Quang Yen town, Viglacera Corporation - the investor of the Dong Mai Industrial Park Workers and Experts Housing Project - received a dossier to register to buy and rent a house in this project.

The project has a total area of 9.1288 hectares, including: 5 high-rise apartment blocks with 980 apartments, each apartment with an area of 26.28m2 - 68.10m2, arranged from 1 to 3 bedrooms; 20 low-rise social housing units, each built on an area of 66m2; 72 commercial houses, each built on an area of 79 - 90m2.

The project has a total investment of over 800 billion VND, synchronously invested in technical infrastructure items, ensuring full educational and community activities for residents such as: Green Park, kindergarten, public services, fire prevention and fighting system, supermarket, clinic, pharmacy...

The project provides stable accommodation for more than 4,000 workers, laborers and nearly 100 experts, contributing to attracting labor and experts to work, creating momentum for development for Dong Mai Industrial Park in particular and the surrounding area, ensuring the goal of local economic development and social security.

The average selling price of social housing (temporarily calculated) is 10,868,000 VND/m2 (including VAT and excluding apartment maintenance costs).

The rental price for social housing (temporarily calculated) is 65,100 VND/m2/month (including VAT and apartment maintenance costs).
