Affirming its role as an important growth pole of the whole country
The Dong Nai economic picture in 2025 ended with bright and optimistic colors. GRDP in the fourth quarter increased by 10.73% (ranked 4th nationwide), contributing to the whole year's growth of 9.63% compared to 2024 - exceeding 1.13 percentage points compared to the target assigned by the Government (8.5%) and leading the country in implementing the growth target.
Dong Nai ranked 7th in the country in terms of GRDP growth rate and continued to lead the Southeast region, affirming its role as one of the important growth poles of the region and the whole country.
This outstanding achievement is thanks to the strong leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee; the synchronous coordination of departments and branches such as Finance, Industry and Trade, Statistics, Customs, Taxation... and the efforts of the business community.
Management agencies have promptly advised policies, removed difficulties, supported businesses to restore production, control and effectively use resources. Administrative reform and digital transformation are promoted, many procedures are simplified, thereby unblocking FDI investment capital flows and domestic domestic domestic resources, creating an important driving force for the province's economy to accelerate.
Industry - Construction: Main growth driver, accounting for 56.54% of GRDP
The industrial - construction sector: continues to play a "push-up" role for GRDP growth of the whole province.
It is estimated that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the increase will be 13.57%, of which industry will increase by 11.98%. Over the whole year, this sector increased by 11.52%, while the industrial sector increased by 10.42%.
Processing and manufacturing industry - the "heart" of the economy
Key industries such as textiles - footwear, and metal production recorded impressive growth from 7.2% to 20.77%.
Many businesses recovered strongly thanks to abundant orders as the world market improved and thanks to a flexible operating environment, timely support from the Government and local authorities.
Power production and distribution increase dramatically
2025 also marks a leap forward for the electricity production and distribution industry with an increase of 19.29%. The biggest highlight is Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Power Plants officially operating from the third quarter of 2025, supplementing a large supply for the national power system. In addition, many industries have impressive growth rates.

Construction increases sharply thanks to a series of key projects
The construction industry broke through with an increase of 21.69% thanks to a series of national key projects such as: Long Thanh International Airport - expected to be operational on December 19, 2025.
The airport can serve 100 million passengers/year, opening up expectations of becoming the largest airport in Southeast Asia, competing directly with Changi (Singapore) and Suvarnabhumi (Thailand);
Phuoc An Port - a strategic logistics gateway of the Southeast region, flexibly connecting with Ho Chi Minh City and the regional seaport system has officially come into operation, the port will reduce the load on transport routes, promote logistics services and create strong attraction for investment capital flows in industrial parks and neighboring localities, important transport infrastructure projects are being urgently implemented.
These infrastructure projects with spillover nature along with many key transport projects are being urgently implemented, creating great growth space for the entire coming period.

Services: Strong growth, benefits from recovery in consumption and trade
Service sector: increased by 10.57% in the fourth quarter and 9.39% for the whole year thanks to improved people's income, strong increase in consumption, along with the development of logistics, information technology and many other service sectors. Some factors that create outstanding growth are:
People's income has increased, stimulating spending on retail - food - entertainment - transportation - accommodation.
The holiday season - New Year's Day always creates a high consumer demand.
Exports, information technology services, and logistics increased thanks to improved global demand and expanded markets.
Many policies to stimulate consumption and support small and medium-sized enterprises are effective.
Reforming administrative procedures helps service sectors operate faster and more effectively.
Agriculture - Forestry - Fisheries: Lowest growth but still plays a role in stabilizing the economy
Agricultural, forestry and fishery sector: increased by 1.49% in the fourth quarter and 3.22% for the whole year - the lowest in the structure of three economic regions.
Main reasons: Livestock is facing difficulties in costs and epidemics; agricultural land area is shrinking due to urbanization and industrial development; Despite low growth, this sector still plays an important role in stabilizing food supply, social security and balancing the province's economic structure.
Dong Nai continues to affirm its position as a locomotive for sustainable development with GRDP growth in 2025 exceeding the Government's assigned target, leading the Southeast region and being among the leading groups in the country, Dong Nai has proven its resilience, endurance and strong adaptability of the economy.
The strategic infrastructure system is increasingly improved, administrative reform is promoted, the investment - business environment continues to be attractive, the business community is dynamic... All create a foundation for Dong Nai to enter a new stage of development: faster growth, more sustainable and higher competition in the region.
