On August 3, according to information from the People's Committees of Nhon Trach and Long Thanh wards, the project to upgrade road 25B section from the center of Nhon Trach to National Highway 51 passing through the area of the above 2 wards is about to be completed and handed over the site.
For Nhon Trach ward, there are 230 affected households with a total recovered area of more than 31ha. Up to now, land has been handed over, reaching a rate of more than 96%. Nhon Trach Ward People's Committee has also approved compensation plans for 222 cases with a total amount of more than 368 billion VND.
In Long Thanh ward, this project has 191 affected cases, 190 cases have handed over land, reaching more than 99%. Long Thanh Ward People's Committee has issued 190 land acquisition decisions, and has paid more than 57 billion VND in compensation and support costs for 144 cases.
The project to upgrade road 25B from Nhon Trach center to National Highway 51 is more than 9km long, with a total investment of 1,493 billion VND, started in December 2024.
The above project, along with the 25C road construction project (from Huong Lo 19 to National Highway 51), are projects implemented by Dong Nai with the aim of connecting traffic from Long Thanh airport to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the plan, roads 25B and 25C will connect Long Thanh airport through National Highway 51 to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City, reducing the load on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
