Responding to people's feedback sent via the city's comments application, regarding the progress of the square and museum project along the City Administrative Center - Bach Dang - Tran Phu, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City has responded.
According to the Department of Construction, the city has successfully organized a competition to select planning and architectural plans for the square - museum in the central area. The contest results were recognized by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 140/QD-UBND dated January 13, 2025.
Regarding the implementation progress, the Project Management Board has submitted Document No. 1854/TTr-BDDHTKT to the Department of Finance on May 26, 2025 for appraisal of the Project Investment Proposal Report. On that basis, on June 4, 2025, the Department of Finance issued Official Letter No. 2404/STC-DADTC giving comments and requests to supplement and complete the dossier.
Currently, the Project Management Board is presiding over the editing and supplementation of the dossier according to the contents commented by the Department of Finance. Regarding the expected progress, the Project Management Board said that the important milestones of the project will be implemented as follows: Approval of the investment policy: September 2025.
Approving the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 in January 2026. Project dossier approval: March 2026. Approving the implementation design after the basic design: May 2026. Approving the results of the selection of contractors for the project: July 2026.
The Department of Construction said that this is a large-scale project, which is of interest and expectation to the people. The implementation is being carried out in accordance with the roadmap, ensuring full legal steps and investment procedures according to regulations.
