On November 17, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said it had requested the People's Committee of Nhon Trach district to speed up compensation and site clearance for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, up to now, the locality has handed over 58.15/65 hectares of land compensation and clearance, reaching 89%. However, the construction area is only about 36.01 hectares, reaching 55% of the land.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, through Dong Nai province, has 3 component projects including: component project 1A invested by My Thuan Project Management Board; component project 3 invested by Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
As for component project 4 - compensation and resettlement support for Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 through Dong Nai province, Nhon Trach District People's Committee is the investor in site clearance work.
For component project 3, invested by Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, over 11km long, there are 3 main construction packages.
Up to now, in package No. 26, construction has been carried out for 302/990 days (30% of implementation time), the completed volume has reached 7.5%, slower than the overall progress of the package.
In package No. 29, construction took 306/990 days (40% of implementation time), with the completed volume reaching 12%, slower than the overall progress of the package.
In package No. 32, construction took 41/835 days (5% of implementation time), with the completed volume reaching 2.5% of the contract value, behind the overall progress of the package.
The Component 3 project of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, the section passing through Dong Nai province, started construction on June 18, 2023 with a total investment of nearly VND 2,600 billion. It is expected to be completed in 2025 and put into operation from 2026.
The project starts at Km 0+000 in Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province. The end point is at Nhon Trach bridge in Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district (continuing with component project 1A of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3).
On the route, a 5km expressway will be built connecting component project 1A, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section at the intersection of provincial road 25B, with a scale of 4 lanes and a speed of 100 km/h.
