According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on the morning of November 2, the water level of Thao River (Thao River is the main river of the Red River) passing through Phu Tho province has receded, no longer having the immense water of the flood time 1 month before.
When the river water has receded, large alluvial plains and sand dunes begin to appear along the river, trees and garbage are scattered from the shore to the riverbed - a common sight every time the flood season ends and the dry season enters.

According to the Long-term Hydrological Forecast and Warning bulletin (from November 1, 2025 to November 31, 2025) of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in October, there were floods on the Thao and Lo rivers.
The development of the hydrological situation in October showed that a flood had occurred on the Thao River starting from September 29 to October 1, the peak flood level at Yen Bai station reached 34.39m at 11:00 on September 30, at Alert Level 3 was 2.39m; at Phu Tho station 17.58m (1:30 p.m. on September 30), at Alert Level 1 was 0.08m.

For the Lo River, in October, floods appear in the early stages, then decrease and change slowly in the late stages. Of which, there was 1 flood with the largest water level at Tuyen Quang station at 26.34m at 4:00 a.m. on October 2, 0.34m above Alert Level 3, the peak flood level at Vu Quang Station (Phu Tho) was 19.73m at 9:00 a.m. on October 2, 0.23m above Alert Level 3.
From the actual water level data table measured and forecasted, the water level of the Thao River at Phu Tho station in October was on average 13.88m, the lowest was 12.48m, the highest was 17.10m.

In November, the water level on the Thao River will continue to change slowly. At Phu Tho station, the average monthly water level is forecast to be 12.16m, the lowest is 11.80m, the highest is 13m.
For the Lo River, according to the actual water level data table measured and forecast, at Vu Quang station, the average water level of the Lo River in October is 11.91m, the lowest is 5.13m, the highest is 19.73m.

It is forecasted that in November, the water level of the Lo River will change slowly and will be affected by the regulation of the upper hydropower plant. At Vu Quang station, the water level is forecast to be 5.90m per month, the lowest is 5.20m, the highest is 7m.
From the above figures, it can be seen that the water level of Thao and Lo rivers passing through Phu Tho province is forecast to gradually recede and no floods will appear like in previous months.
