From December 8, a tropical depression in the sea east of the central Philippines may enter the East Sea and strengthen into a storm. By December 9-10, the low pressure trough will form at about 6-9 degrees North latitude, connecting with this tropical depression. The Northeast wind in the southern seas is strong, especially on December 9-12, it tends to decrease.

With the above conditions, the weather in the South is generally dry, with reduced humidity, cold at night and early morning, and sunny during the day, which can affect health. In the evening and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.
Regarding high tides, water levels at stations on the Saigon River tend to decrease slowly and remain high in the next 1-2 days, then decrease rapidly. The highest daily tide peak is above alert level 1 and will last until December 10.
People need to be on guard against heavy rain, strong Northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8. Winds combined with high tides can easily cause flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers, affecting traffic and socio-economic activities.
