The road famous for many "potholes" in Dong Nai

On October 13, the Department of Transport of Dong Nai province announced traffic organization on the Thien Tan Water Plant (Hoang Van Bon) route from Minh Nguyet intersection to National Highway 1.

According to the Department of Transport of Dong Nai province, the Thien Tan Water Plant (Hoang Van Bon) route is a part of the BOT project of Road 768, implemented by Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company as the investor.

This route was invested and put into use in 1999, with a road surface width of 6m, dirt sidewalks on each side 1.5m wide, roadbed width 9.0m, no drainage system along both sides of the road.

Because the road was invested in a long time ago and does not have a drainage system, it has now seriously degraded, with many severely damaged areas, especially the section from Minh Nguyet intersection to National Highway 1.

According to records, on October 2, on Thien Tan Street (Thien Tan Commune, Vinh Cuu District), a collision occurred between a dump truck and a motorbike, causing the woman riding the motorbike to fall onto the road and die on the spot.

Previously, on September 15, on Hoang Van Bon Street (Tan Bien Ward, Bien Hoa City), a collision occurred between two people on motorbikes, causing 1 woman and 1 teenager to die on the spot.

To ensure traffic safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic as well as to avoid serious accidents like in the past, the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province has requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to direct specialized units to reorganize traffic plans, prohibiting vehicles with a load capacity of 5 tons or more from traveling on the Thien Tan Water Plant route from Minh Nguyet intersection to National Highway 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until this route is repaired.

The Department of Transport announces traffic organization on the Thien Tan Water Plant route from Minh Nguyet intersection to National Highway 1 as follows:

Prohibit vehicles with a load capacity of 5 tons or more from circulating from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thien Tan Water Plant route from Minh Nguyet intersection to National Highway 1.
