On May 10, informing reporters, Major Pham Van Tuan - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (Tuyen Quang Provincial Police), said that a road section about 150m long on Km37 on National Highway 2, the section passing through Ham Yen district, was flooded about 1m deep after heavy rain, causing traffic congestion.

Heavy rain on the night of May 9 and this morning also caused a series of trees along National Highway 2 to fall, endangering traffic participants.

Soldiers from the Traffic Police Department of Tuyen Quang Police organized forces, diverted traffic, and worked with local people to trim and clear fallen trees and rocks that spilled onto the road. Using specialized cars helps people pass through flooded areas safely to keep the roads clear.

According to Major Pham Van Tuan, in bad weather conditions and slippery road surfaces, traffic participants must strictly follow the regulations and instructions of the authorities to ensure their safety, as well as limit congestion.
