Bac Kan - The Nong Ha - Khe Thi route: DH.75 (Cho Moi) has been rapidly degraded, the road surface is peeling, and the rocks and gravel are unidespread.

According to the reporter's records at the end of March 2025, after more than 1 year of use, the Nong Ha - Khe Thi: DH.75 route through Nong Ha commune (Cho Moi, Bac Kan) has seriously degraded.

Many sections of the concrete road surface are peeling, revealing the layer of gravel and rocks lying around below. Notably, this situation has not happened recently but has appeared for a long time.

As a household with a house near the above road, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh (character's name has been changed) in Ban Tet village, Nong Ha commune said that the road deterioration has been going on for a long time and has not been repaired yet.

Mr. Thinh shared that at first there were only a few small cracks, but over time, the road surface gradually peeled off, and many sections have now clearly revealed the rock and gravel layer below.

"I don't understand the quality of the project but it has been damaged after such a short time. If not repaired soon, this road will soon be more severely damaged," Mr. Thinh added.

According to local people, this route has very few heavy trucks circulating, mainly cars, motorbikes and some small wood-carried vehicles.

With a not-so-large traffic volume, the road surface deterioration after a short time has made many people wonder about the quality of the project.

Informing reporters, a member of the project supervision team said that since the road was first poured, some sections have shown signs of deterioration and are not guaranteed.

Some people in the supervision team later gave their opinions on this issue but did not understand why the project was still accepted and put into use.

Nong Ha - Khe Thi road project: DH.75 through Nong Ha commune, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province is invested by the Bac Kan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of more than 13.2 billion VND.

The route is about 5km long, constructed by the Phu Thanh - Cao Ha joint venture, and started construction in November 2022, with a implementation period of 12 months.

Talking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Vu Nhu Hoi - Chairman of Nong Ha Commune People's Committee - confirmed that the road was completed in 2023 and is now degraded. Some sections, routes, and concrete sections of the road surface are peeling, exposing the layer of gravel and rocks below.

The commune leader also said that the locality has reported to the People's Committee of Cho Moi district to have a plan to restore and repair the road to ensure urban aesthetics as well as make travel easier.
