According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, many roads in Hanoi are congested, in which Pham Hung route towards the southern gateway, the elevated Ring Road 3... vehicles also have difficulty moving.
At the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, the line of cars divided into 3 rows moving at a speed of about 20km/h. At many times, drivers deliberately enter the emergency lane on the highway, causing chaos in traffic.
Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Hoang Huy (from Thanh Hoa) said that at 7:00 a.m. this morning, he was present at the entrance to Ring Road 3 (the intersection of Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai). However, it was not until 9:05 a.m. that he was able to escape Ring Road 3 to enter the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway.
"After escaping Ring Road 3, I encountered congestion on the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway from the beginning of the route to Phap Van Toll Station. Just inching up like that, I don't know when I will return to my hometown" - Mr. Huy said.
To reduce congestion, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department) has deployed forces to be on duty and regulate traffic at the Toll Station area (Km 188).


Speaking to reporters, a representative of Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company said that the unit has added 610 additional trips to My Dinh, Giap Bat, and Gia Lam bus stations during the two peak days of April 29 and 30.
In particular, the routes Hanoi - Nam Dinh, Hanoi - Thai Binh and Hanoi - Thanh Hoa are prioritized due to high demand. In addition, 76 buses on 38 routes have also been adjusted to increase by 170 to attract passengers to public transport and reduce congestion at the gate.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung - Director of Giap Bat Bus Station said that during the peak days of the 30.4-1.15.5 holiday, the bus station welcomes about 12,000-15,000 visitors/day, mainly on the routes of Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam....
