Storm No. 3 (Yagi) and its circulation have caused heavy damage to people and property in many localities in the North, including Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province. In order to contribute to the authorities at all levels and people of Cam Pha City to quickly restore production and stabilize people's lives, in response to the call of the General Secretary, President and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) has carried out many activities to support and raise funds to help localities and people overcome the consequences of Yagi storm.
On November 7, 2024, authorized by Power Generation Corporation 3, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Mong Duong Thermal Power Company, together with the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Cam Pha City, the leaders of the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front of wards/communes in Cam Pha City, visited and encouraged 9 households.
These are all poor households. All of them had their roofs blown off or their walls collapsed, so they had to stay with relatives and neighbors. In a spirit of mutual support, the Power Generation Corporation 3 and Mong Duong Thermal Power Company decided to support the cost of repairing and restoring the houses of the 9 above mentioned households with an amount of more than 424 million VND.
Mr. Tran Dang Toan - Deputy Director of Mong Duong Thermal Power Company - shared: "With the spirit of solidarity, sharing food and clothes, contributing to the authorities at all levels and the people of Cam Pha city to quickly stabilize their lives, all cadres, civil servants and employees of EVNGENCO3 are always ready to support and share difficulties with the locality and people in the disaster-affected areas, hoping that people will soon overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives."
