On October 13 and 14, the People's Committees of Hiep Cat, Thanh Quang and Hop Tien communes, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province coordinated with the Commune Fatherland Front Committee and the District Land Clearance Council to hold a meeting with households whose land area was recovered to implement the Investment Project to build the Kenh Vang Bridge and access roads.
The investment project to build the Golden Canal Bridge and approach roads has a total cost of more than 2,182 billion VND. The construction project includes the Golden Canal Bridge, 740m long, 23.5m wide, designed with a permanent scale, prestressed reinforced concrete structure, the approach roads at both ends of the bridge are 12.6km long, and the road surface is 15m wide.
The construction site is in Gia Binh, Luong Tai districts (Bac Ninh province) and Nam Sach district (Hai Duong province). In particular, in Nam Sach district, land will be recovered from some households in Hiep Cat, Hop Tien and Thanh Quang communes to build an access road connecting to National Highway 37.
After being informed specifically about the investment policy, implementation scale, policies related to compensation for site clearance and resettlement, and facing new development opportunities, people with land, constructions, and crop assets on the land that must be recovered to implement the project all expressed high consensus with the project implementation policy and the handover of the project site.
People also requested explanations and clarifications of policies, compensation prices, and land acquisition support. Especially new points in compensation and support for land acquisition, determining the number of households, the level of job support, and determining the constructions and crops on the land to be compensated.
For this project, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district is responsible for reviewing and including the land area to be recovered in the Land Use Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, the Land Use Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, and the annual Land Use Plan. At the same time, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district organizes the preparation of a plan for site clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement of the project in Hai Duong province to submit to the competent authority for approval; organizes site clearance compensation and handover of the site to the project investor.
For Hiep Cat and Hop Tien communes, once the investment and construction project of Kenh Vang bridge and Tan An bridge project are completed, these two communes will no longer be remote communes of the district but will become inter-regional and inter-provincial gateways, opening up new development opportunities for Hiep Cat and Hop Tien communes in particular, Nam Sach district and Hai Duong province in general.
